The charge** for exterior waterproofing has two components. Excavation and drain line charges .

Excavation: Measure the linear footage of the foundation walls you want to waterproof. Multiply that number by the appropriate prices shown below (depth is measured from the grade line to the bottom of the basement floor).

  • For a depth between 0 and 3 feet multiply the linear feet by $30.00
  • For a depth between 3 and 6 feet multiply the linear feet by $87.00.
  • For a depth between 6 and 8 feet multiply the linear feet by $135.00

example: 10 linear feet of a wall 6 foot deep would cost 10 times $85.00 or $850.00 plus the drain line cost shown below.

Drain line: Multiply the length of the drain times the depth of the drain line at its deepest point time $4.00.

example: A 20 foot long drain line that is 3 feet below the top of the ground will cost 20x3x$4.00 or $240.00

In our examples an exterior waterproofing system the excavation cost $850.00 and the drain line cost $240.00 for a total cost of $1090.00

Please note: Accurate measurements determine the calculated costs.
